BIOGRAPHY
Ifigeneia is a Cyprus-born dance artist whose journey in movement began at the age of four. Raised on a small, beautiful island, she trained extensively in classical ballet under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) system before expanding her practice to include Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Waacking, and Dancehall. Her early dedication to dance shaped a strong technical foundation and a curiosity for diverse movement languages.
In 2017, Ifigeneia travelled to the United Kingdom to attend a summer school at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD), an experience that confirmed her decision to pursue dance professionally. At seventeen, she relocated to the UK and began her undergraduate studies at Leeds Beckett University’s School of Arts, graduating in 2021 with a First Class Honours BA in Contemporary Dance.
Driven to further develop her choreographic voice, Ifigeneia continued her training at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, where she completed an MA in Choreography. During her studies, she was awarded a prestigious Leverhulme Postgraduate Scholarship and graduated with Distinction.
In 2023, Ifigeneia was selected for the International Dance Journey Program with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, relocating to Israel for five months. During this time, she trained intensively with leading professionals and performed repertory works by Artistic Director Rami Be’er, including excerpts from A Good Citizen, Asylum, Lullaby for Bach, and 60 Hertz at Zichri Theatre.
Since 2021, Ifigeneia has worked as a freelance dance artist, collaborating with a range of multidisciplinary creatives such as Hypereyes, Ruth Gibson, Beth Cassani, Nicholas Garlo, Lea Bessoudo Greck, and Maddison Araceli. Her broad training has shaped a distinct movement quality and expressive performance presence. In 2024, she joined Asomates Dynameis Dance Company, performing in HOME 2024 and BLISS 2025.
Ifigeneia is a driven and ambitious artist, continually seeking new challenges, collaborations, and opportunities to expand her artistic practice.
